I woke up around 10 and went to QualTool to get my paycheck. I went to the office and I said, "Hi, I'm here to pick up my paycheck." and the snobbish Puerto Rican bitch said that I needed to go talk to Maria, in this over-the-top snobbish tone. I just grinned, because it was funny that someone who works in a miserable, failing place like Qualtool can act like a snob to someone who can program in 3 languages and an IQ that undoubtedly dwarfs hers. I saw Maria and started walking towards her. The bitchy Puerto Rican goes "Yes, that's Maria. Right there. Need anymore help?" I just turned around. "Nah. I got it. Thanks." I got my paycheck from Maria, whom was in a surprisingly cheery mood. Every other time I talked to her she seemed kind of moody. As I walked past the snobbish girl she mad a generalized interrogative to one of the other fuckwits: "Do carrots really help your eyesite?" I answered "Carrots have a lot of carotene, which can attribute to healthy eyesight. If you eat a lot of them, though, you can turn yellow." And she just kind of looked at me funny and said "Um...didn't you use to work in manufacturing?" in her trademark snobbish bitch voice. My reply - "Yes, and I find it rediculously ironic when someone such as yourself insults my intelligence. Remember where you work and drop the snobbish attitude." I don't think she knew what to make of that, and I just got a "ohhhhkaaaay" in response. From there I went to the bank, where I did something pretty stupid.

When I got there, there were two guys in the parking lot selling speakers. I did, in fact, need some new speakers for my home stereo system because the ones Jason sold me had blown. They were Audiofiles, and the guy had brochures and stuff for them saying they were $1500 each. He said they ordered too much for an install job and couldn't return them, and if they give them to their boss he'll just sell them on eBay. They wanted $1k. I offered $300. They wouldn't accept that, so I started to leave. Then they said they'd do it so I went home with two new speakers. I got on the net to do a search and it turns out Audiofiles are garbage. But, they sound alright to me. Not worth what I paid for them, but alright, nontheless. Oh well.

I went to LSCC to see about getting that scholarship garbage taken care of, but I was number 32 on the list so I just went home. Have I mentioned yet that I hate this shit?

At 4 I picked up Tim. We went to KFC in Leesburg and got the buffet. Good stuff. We came back to my place and watched Clerks, and then went to the football game at the Highschool. I saw Jason and his girlfriend, Ben and Gordon there, but we left before the first quarter because it started raining pretty hard. I heard they had to call the came later on. Took Tim home and came back here and didn't really do much.

So...let's see how long this not having a job thing lasts.

Yesterday I payed my tuition and today I payed for my books. About $800 in all out of my own pocket. I still have to get them to pay me back 75% of the tuition because my scholarship is supposed to cover 75% of it..and my grandma said "we" need to get that money back. Who the hell is this 'we', bitch? She's making me pay for everything myself, so I'm taking the money. I only got three classes but I'm kinda glad because I wouldn't be able to afford anymore than that. The first one is on Saturday...8 AM - 1 PM. Yep, 5 hours for one class, and 8 AM on a Saturday at that. It's Microcomputer Hardware - pretty easy stuff that I already know but need to take because it's a required course for whatever it is I put down on my application. I also got my Student ID today. They were out of parking permits so hopefully I won't get a ticket. After that I left and went to 7-11 to grab a few bottles of Jones and then went home and started working on a FF7 trainer. There's only one trainer that works on winxp and it's crappy, so I'm making a good one. Since ddr said that all trainers made with TMK look like shit, I'm making it in TMK. So far I got 90 hacks, which is more than any other ff7 trainer in existence except for one put out by Tekz, and I'm not even half-way done yet. I quit working on that after a while because it got boring...and then I ran out of things to do, so I'm posting this news.

I stole my grandma's Godiva icecream and I can honestly say it's the best icecream I've ever had. She's not gonna be too happy about it when she finds out, though. Oh well, fuck her.

I quit my job Friday and I have to pick up my paycheck this coming Friday even though I gave my notice. I had both my supervisor and the plant manager (the only two cool dudes in the whole place) arguing with the payroll people and they still wouldn't give it to me, even though they had it there. They worked me so hard the last three days; I came home everyday so tired I could barely stay awake, so I couldn't get anything done that I wanted to. Saturday I mowed the lawn and played some FFX..that was pretty much it. Friday night I drank two gallons of Poweraid and Saturday morning it felt like my kidneys were gonna burst, so I spent a good five minuntes in the bathroom expelling it. I pissed blue. Today I had to mow the lawn at the old house..I hate doing that. We were there from 11 to 3. I came home and worked on the DN site some. It's almost done. Next comes Cdeath v8, which will be completely different than what it is now. I hope to get it done by November, because I change the layout every November; the first CD site was made in November of 1997.

I hate college and I haven't even started yet. I didn't even wanna do this this year.

Added a poem to the Literature section called Curious. I wrote it a while ago but just got around to typing it.

Not much of anything happened today. Some girl at work stole my idea with sitting in a chair and pushing the stupid air button with a metal rod on the broken sand blaster. Fortunately, the head-of-secondary lady put her to work and let me take over that job. So after pulling the chips and sweeping the floor I just lounged for a few hours. I fell asleep when it was almost time to go and the secondary lady woke me up and thought it was funny. Supposedly I'm the only one there that gets along with that woman. She seems alright to me. I don't know what everyone's problem with her is.

It was storming on the way home pretty heavily. Everyone was driving like 35. I don't know why people drive so slow on a straight road when there's not much traffic - it's those turns you gotta watch out for, especially if you got bald tires - like my camaro does. It's fun to drive it in the rain...well, after all that, I came home and just kind of chilled for a while. Played some FFX and worked on DN a little.

Friday is my last day at that hell hole. But, now that I pretty much just lounge around all day, it doesn't seem like such a bad job. Well, they have to fix that basket blaster some time, I suppose, and hopefully it's after Friday. :)

Today I woke up at 10:55 am after going to bed at 12:00 am last night/this morning. I almost forgot how nice it was to be able to sleep in. About two hours after I woke up, my brother, my grandmother and I went off to Ross in search of some shirts for myself. I don't know why my brother had to go, nor do I know why my grandmother took me. I've had my own means of transportation for a few years now. I dunno. After realizing they had nothing I wanted, my brother and I had to stand and wait for my grandmother to aimlessly wander around for about an hour, rummaging for no apparent reason. She made Josh get a few shirts, even though he doesn't need any. I guess she feels that she *has* to spend money at any establishment she enters. So we left after that and went to another Ross about ten minutes away. This time, they had nothing but old man/golf shirts. So I got seven of the only decent ones I could find that didn't look too golfy or too old-man..y, and once again Josh had to get two other shirts to get my grandma off his back, and also once again we stood around and waited for an hour on her retarded ass. We then went to CiCi's pizza and ate a truckload of pizza. I normally don't like their pizza very much, ignoring the fact that it's all-I-can-eat and cheap, but this time they had pizza with jalapenos on it. Yes. There was a fat lady that ate the whole goddamn bin ofcheese bread. Hope you have fun on the can, you fat, greedy bitch.

After that my brother and I sat in the freaking hot van for an hour while my grandmother rummaged around in some crafts store. She bought some stupid wooden lawn ornament. Then we went home, where I started working on the dream nexus site (which looks like this...or would have) but I came to realize that the little image I made wouldn't have made for a very practical site, so I'm gonna junk it and start over on a more boring, professional layout that won't take too long to make. After this I'm seriously retiring from graphics and web design because it quit being fun and now it just feels like work. And I don't like work. I haven't come up with anything for the site yet, and with my lack of free time, I doubt I will anytime this week. I even turned down a paying customer because I don't have time for anything.

There was some crazy shit going on Friday night. I heard a lot of yelling and banging and it turns out that a bunch of guys ran through the neighborhood, breaking stuff and fighting people. Apparently they ran through our yard and jumped over the fence. Too bad they didn't come banging on my door. Hey, everything's legal if you feel that your life is threatened. I'm pretty sure that includes crossbows, blackjacks and pistol-whippings...need bullets...

Well I'm gonna go hang up my old man/golf shirts and play around in shotophop for a while.

I've started working on the Dream Nexus site again since last time I forgot to same the psd file...Here's what I've got done so far...my first attempt at some abstract junk. Took me three hours to make it. Just a lot of blending and bending. Looks similar to the stuff people do in 3ds max.

Today I went to church with my dad again. We sat in the same seats, and the one right in front of me was empty. I was disappointed that the girl from last time wasn't there, but, just as I had thought about that, she came in and stood right in front of me. She gave me another "hello" before she left. Too bad I was with my dad.

We went to Alexander springs and my dad seemed surprised when it was crowded and he tried to get his money back..unsuccessfully, of course. What a fucking idiot. My brother and I stood there as my little half-brother ran around and kept shoving his younger sister. Nothin' I could do about it without someone calling social services on me. So, thirty minutes wasted, we swam for a while and left three hours later.
