3840 (480x8) seems to be my limit. It's not orthos stable but it's everything else stable. I think.
I give up. I'm gonna wait for the new stuff to come out and give this mobo/cpu combo to Heath as payment for finishing my car (long story).

I CAN'T SEEM TO DO MORE THAN 460X8 STABLE NO MATTER WHAT I PUSH THE VOLTAGE TO. THE PROBLEM ISN'T HEAT, THOUGH. SINCE I'VE ADDED THESE VANTEC TORNADO FANS MY TEMPERATURES HAVE DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY. I CAN SERIOUSLY CHILL A COKE IN THE CASE NOW. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT I HAVE TO YELL TO TALK OVER THE FUCKING NOISE, HENCE THE CAPS. I THINK THE MOTHERBOARD IS HOLDING ME BACK. SHOULD'VE GONE WITH THE DS3 OVER THIS STUPID ABIT IP35 P.O.S. BRB RIGGING UP A FAN SWITCH.
Dear god, four of them in a push-pull array. The closed case makes it even worse; you can hear the air coming through the side vent holes coming almost to a whistle. I'm going to line the inside of the case with foam and fill corners with socks or something. Maybe that'll dampen the noise a bit...providing the fans don't eat the socks, anyway. They're known around these aprts to have an apetite for t-shirts.
